Avon Soccer League Association (ASLA) was founded in 1981 by a local soccer enthusiast, John Timar.  At that time ASLA was represented by only one co-ed team of 20 players. Today ASLA has grown to over 1,000 players between both the recreation and travel divisions.

ASLA was designed to create a positive environment where the children of Avon can make friends, have fun, stay healthy, and play soccer to represent their community.  Proudly, ASLA is today recognized as one of the premier community soccer programs in all of northern Ohio.  ASLA offers training, league play, summer camp, and year-round programming for players between the ages of 3 and 14 years of age.
